Jenna Muñiz LAC Portrait

Jenna Muñiz, LAC

I grew up in a chaotic environment that left me with two choices: continue the cycle of dysfunction and trauma or grow from it and help others to break their own cycles they were born into or found their way to. I have a passion for helping others heal from their disturbing experiences, breaking dysfunctional family cycles, adopting new beliefs about yourself, and healing your inner child. I have a profound passion for sharing knowledge with others and fostering healing and validation.

I work from a humanistic approach by celebrating the unique individual that you are while focusing on whole-person wellbeing by working from a strengths-based perspective to foster self-compassion and growth. Being a trauma-informed therapist, I recognize that most of us are likely to have gone through trauma than not, and recognizing how that trauma affects the whole person and presents in unique ways.

I don’t see myself as your therapist. I see myself as a fellow traveler on your journey who you have granted the opportunity to embark on with you. When I work with fellow travelers, I am your biggest cheerleader, and I will also challenge you in a compassionate way. I connect with others by being authentic, modeling myself as a human being that makes mistakes, and my goofy personality. We all make mistakes and poor choices, and I will be here to show you grace and work with you to grow through it all.
