It was her chaos that made her beautiful. - Atticus Poetry

I’m in my second year of my master’s program in social work at Arizona State University. My unique approach involves extensive work with the Department of Child Safety and the foster care system, using a trauma-informed approach with domestic violence survivors and individuals with special needs.

In a world of chaos and constant pressure to conform, it can be tempting to give up and blend in. But remember, our quirks and unique qualities make us special! I’m committed to helping you navigate life’s challenges in a supportive and affirming environment. The therapeutic journey may be intimidating, but I’m here to support you through the healing process, providing the encouragement you need to discover your inner strength and authentic self. Together, we can help you reach your highest potential. Taking that first small step is all it takes to uncover your beauty amidst the chaos.

Post-graduation, I’m determined to become independently licensed, obtain certification as a therapist from the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), and acquire certification for yoga therapy. I also plan to further my studies in substance use and establish harm reduction services to ensure a safer experience for attendees of music festivals.

I offer a free 15-minute consultation to answer any questions you may have prior to scheduling.

As a graduate student currently studying social work, I am excited to bring my growing knowledge and enthusiasm to support individuals in their journeys towards healing and self-discovery as an intern at Cactus Flower Healing. My experiences navigating the complexities of growing up in a dysfunctional family while struggling with depression and social anxiety has profoundly shaped my perspective and commitment to social work. My own journey through these difficulties has fueled my passion for helping others who face similar struggles, and it has driven me to pursue a career where I can offer empathetic support.

During my internship, I am particularly interested in supporting clients dealing with anxiety, depression, codependency, or self-esteem issues. I am committed to learning and applying effective strategies to help individuals build resilience and foster personal growth. My approach is grounded in empathy and a client-centered perspective, focusing on understanding each person’s unique experiences and strengths.

I am eager to contribute to a supportive and safe therapeutic environment where clients can explore their concerns and work towards meaningful change. Through this internship, I am looking forward to gaining hands-on experience and deepening my understanding of effective interventions and therapeutic techniques.

Every day presents a new mountain with another summit to conquer, with support and self-determination, we can enjoy the journey to our goals rather than the destination itself.

As a therapist with ADHD and autistic symptoms, I can help you identify and create systems that will give you the structure you need to thrive. I have had many struggles throughout my life being neurodivergent and have a unique perspective on how to reframe and work with our needs rather than against them.

As a trauma-informed therapist, my goal is to support queer, neurodivergent, and POC clients, from their everyday life struggles to their biggest goals and dreams. By using a strengths-based approach and focusing on your wants and needs we can build a skill set of practices that will help you through each new experience and to process past experiences.

I believe that with time and work, everyone can be successful in life, regardless of what success means to them.
