Alessia Kosta, LMSW

(she/they)

Many of us feel like we are fighting several losing battles at once. It can lead to overwhelm, anxiety, and a sense of being alone— impacting our relationships to others and ourselves. Navigating these challenges means more than addressing symptoms: we have to rediscover a sense of meaning. To do this, I blend modalities that address trauma, identity, emotional regulation, personal understanding, and practical solutions to build resiliency informed by an individual's goals and priorities.

As a queer, neurodivergent and trans-affirming therapist, I work with the LGBTQ+ community while also providing kink, poly, and neurodivergent-friendly care. My clinical specializations include working with mood disorders (Depression, Bipolar), Borderline Personality Disorder, Anxiety, complex trauma/PTSD, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. I am additionally trained in EMDR and NARM therapies to best support clients with trauma histories, and provide psychedelic integration therapy.

My philosophy is simple: I want my clients to feel safe enough to be curious— not only about themselves, but the world around them. Once we start understanding who we are and how we got here, it gives us the best chance at building a meaningful life.

If this sounds like a good fit, or if you have any questions, schedule a free 15 minute consultation call with me.

Alessia accepts adult and adolescent (14+) clients.
